Helena usually carries a sketch pad around with her. When she travels and visits small local cafés or bars it often comes out. What is served on the table and almost everything in the surroundings inspires her. In no time, the pad is full of notes and simple sketches. After returning home, she’ll sit down at her easel and recreate the scenes, bringing them to life in vibrant colours. Helena Falk is from Sweden. She has studied fashion design and advertising. Besides working with textiles and as an Art director and illustrator, Helena has always dedicated much of her time to painting.
