You are probably already familiar with Café Rialto, the restaurant within Rialto Living, located under the grand vaulted ceiling that allows natural light to flood in. It's the perfect spot to take a break and savour a delicious, healthy meal in its stunning 18th-century building.
With winter approaching, Café Rialto is presenting new suggestions curated by French chef Valerie Bettiger, while keeping the timeless classics that have been on the menu since the beginning.
Today, we bring you the 8 most loved dishes chosen by regular customers. So you can keep coming back until you try them all!
1. Rialto Salad
One of Café Rialto’s quintessential dishes. Simple and fresh, served on a bed of mixed lettuce leaves and topped with avocado, strawberries, roasted nuts, prawns, and a Yuzu vinaigrette, with a final touch of Flor de Sal.
2. Vietnamese spring rolls
A subtle mix of lettuce leaves, avocado, mango and prawns sautéed with Japanese spices makes this dish a true delight. The spring rolls are served with tobiko roe, wakame and a peanut sauce on the side.
3. Club Sandwich
Undoubtedly Café Rialto’s star dish and a favourite among regulars. A classic inspired by the global travels of Rialto Living’s general manager, Svenn Rudow. Made with tramezzini bread, iceberg lettuce, provolone cheese, free-range chicken breast, bacon and tomato. Served with oven baked potato wedges seasoned with rosemary oil and ground chili, accompanied by kimchi sauce.
4. Sea bass with sautéed vegetables
This dish, crafted by chef Valerie, is pure essence of the sea. Sautéed in saffron oil, the fish is first grilled and then baked to achieve the perfect texture. It’s served with a medley of vegetables and sprinkled with Flor de Sal.
5. Angus Burger
A favourite among meat lovers, this burger is made with brioche bread, provolone cheese and tomato. Featuring 190 grams of high-quality beef, it’s served with baked potato chips and accompanied by a homemade kimchi sauce with cabbage and carrots.
6. Vegetable Yakimeshi with rice
Café Rialto’s vegan option, a delicious, healthy and highly nutritious Japanese dish that satisfies those who prefer plant-based dishes.
7. Apple pie
Café Rialto's desserts are all homemade and this pie is a great example of that. Apple and cinnamon take center stage, with a nod to Mallorcan gastronomy: the almonds that surround the pie. A secret recipe made by Eva Sköldberg, one of the first chefs at Café Rialto, of Swedish origin.
8. Carrot cake
Creamy, delicious and made with love like all the desserts prepared in our cosy restaurant, where we look forward to serving them to you whenever you visit.
