Born in Tunis and spending his early years there, Gilles comes from a family with deep Mediterranean roots. However, it was in Mallorca that he found a profound connection, drawn by its rich history and cultural significance as the epicenter of the Mediterranean world. Residing on the island since 2019, he has dedicated himself to capturing its expansive landscapes with a simple pencil. His aim is to convey the immersive beauty of these landscapes, allowing others to understand and appreciate their essence through slow, meditative drawing. In doing so, he communicates his deep love for the island.
